I have over 25 years of construction and 8 years of general industry experience covering a wide range of projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Public, Transportation, and Federal Sector. I am experienced in many aspects of construction management having served in the capacities of schedule consultant, corporate and district scheduler, project controls manager, assistant safety director, estimator and quality control inspector at various points in my career.
I am highly experienced in working on projects that are time sensitive and/or involve coordination with ongoing operations and tenants. I have the proven ability to plan projects subject to complex phasing requirements while maintaining continuity with ongoing owner operations within or adjacent to the planned work. Purva has over 12 years of experience in project management and controls and has been involved in planning and scheduling more than $3 billion in total construction projects, with projects ranging anywhere from $100 million to $850 million. Her experience in private as well as federal construction projects has enabled her to master variable planning and scheduling requirements including baseline creation, progress monitoring, time-impact analysis, cost and resource monitoring, change management as well as formal written narratives describing construction changes and progression.
Purva is proficient in the development, coordination, and maintenance of detailed project schedules involving numerous phases and multiple contractors using Primavera 6 and other scheduling software. She is skilled in the use of cost and resource-loaded schedules to accurately project future expenditures, recognize emerging schedule trends, and interpret the direction and impact of trends on project results.
She earned her Masters’ of Science in Construction Management at Virginia Tech and earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Pune University, India. Purva holds a number of Professional Certifications which include Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) and Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
Silas has over 12 years of construction experience in Commercial, Residential, Industrial, and Public projects. He started his career as a field construction worker and has utilized that experience to make the transition to project controls. Silas developed CPM scheduling skills working on projects such as; the Inova Women’s Hospital Mechanical packages and Dominion Cove Point LNG Project as junior scheduling support. In addition, most recently Silas has assumed a lead role as a mid-level scheduling resource for assembling construction schedules for MarkWest Mid-Stream Natural Gas Plants.
As a mid-level scheduler, Silas is able to support CPM scheduling needs for Design, Pre-Construction & Procurement, Regulatory Compliance, Construction & Commissioning phases of a project.
